Acme Inc Launches New Veggie Blitzer 9000
The company describes its latest appliance as “revolutionary”. Our illustration department was unable to establish precisely what it does.
What RecipeJam does about it
The box ships once. The recipes for what is inside it do not have to. A permanent QR code on the packaging opens a branded collection you keep adding to — so an appliance bought in March can be showing new recipes in November.
RecipeJam, in use
A recording of this, in the real application
A permanent QR on the packaging opening a branded collection, and a new recipe appearing behind the same code.
Filmed in RecipeJam itself, not an animation. Coming shortly.
A leaflet cannot be updated. This can.
Printed recipe inserts are finished the moment they go to press. The collection behind a QR code is not, and the code on the box never has to change.
Recipes for the actual appliance
Written for the thing somebody has just unboxed, with its settings and its capacity, rather than adapted from a recipe that assumed a saucepan.
Customers keep what they like
A recipe saved into a customer’s own RecipeJam outlasts the warranty, the packaging, and quite possibly the appliance.
The Veggie Blitzer 9000, an appliance of indeterminate function.
Acme Inc and the Veggie Blitzer 9000 are invented. The bit about the box shipping once is not.
